Find out how long they have been in practice, what schooling they've had, what their clinic hours are, and what their availability is. Don't be afraid to ask for references. Find out if the doctor is properly licensed and has a clean record and can do acupuncture, family, flu, free, group, health problems, heart, hiv, hospice, hospital, infertility, influenza, IVF, pharmacy, physical, clinics, community, emergency, fertility for health, and health care. You can go online to research doctors' backgrounds thoroughly. It may be a wise choice to find a doctor near you, rather than far away so you can get to him or her quickly and easily in the event of an emergency. Once you have decided what kind of medical clinics physician or surgeon you want, be sure to visit with a few doctors before committing. Assess the appearance of the medical clinic, making sure the building is well maintained and clean. Meet with several staff members and make note if they are timely and well groomed. Make sure the facility is clean as well, and staff members are courteous. Ask about costs of various services, whether you need general healthcare, fertility care, rehab care and references, or obstetrical care.
